With over 20 years of experience, I bring a proven track record as a IT Infrastructure Project Manager and using my technical and project management skills to lead and manage large, multi-million-dollar IT projects.  I am a team player with the communication skills to work with a global workforce. 10/2017 – 11/2021- Senior IT Network Infrastructure Project Manager and Program Manager – Responsible for Network related Projects for ADT LLC, a North American security corporation. 

  • As a Senior IT Network Infrastructure Project Manager/Program Manager, my role included –
    • Managing financial workbooks, capital and operating expenses, resource management, etc.
    • Leading all aspects of the project lifecycle, working with project sponsors/key stakeholders, team members, and management to oversee all phases of each project to completion
    • Developing, executing, and managing project(s) within the defined scope
    • Build and manage project work breakdown structures, milestones, risks, issues, and deliverables within the constraints of human and financial resources and adapting to changing priorities to ensure the successful completion of each project
  • My responsibilities include working these IT projects –
    • Mergers and Acquisitions
      • Discovery of the acquired company’s IT Infrastructure and determining the Integration effort required
      • Creating a Statement of Work (SOW), identifying resources and planning the effort for integration and its execution
      • Bringing each acquisition into the parent company’s IT infrastructure in a timely and cost-effective manner
      • Integration of ADT standard including Palo Alto Firewalls, Meraki Routers and Switches
      • Managing cutover transitioning working with Real Estate and Network Engineering
      • Integration of ADS and decommissioning of old MS Domains
    • Transition Services Agreement for a sold subsidiary
      • Managing 10 PMs for de-coupling 14 on-premise and cloud-based applications due to the sale of the Canadian portion of the business
      • Methodically closing out the dependency of the parent and subsidiary IT processes and resources
      • Reporting to management the progress, Risks and mitigations associated with this project
    • Integration of 180 Service and Sales offices
      • Cisco Meraki integrations for purchased entities and existing Sales offices around the country
      • Deployment of Palo Alto Firewalls, Meraki Switches and Routers, Meraki Wireless deployments – WIPS/WLCs/WAPs, transition from MPLS to SD WAN technology
    • Network-based projects, e.g., Network Segmentation for PCI/PII
      • Network segmentation of PCI/PII proprietary data and bring the organization into PCI compliance
      • Re-distribution of computing and storage to comply with Security
      • Working with Network Engineering to support the changes and related activities
    • Decommissioning Data Centers that no longer required and no longer cost effective

4/2015 – 10/2017 – IT Infrastructure Project Manager – In charge of new building IT Infrastructure for a $200 Million, five story building designed for American Express, from start to finish – ground breaking to move in and production.

  • The $10 million IT Budget included new desktops/laptops, new Cisco PBXs for back office and Avaya PBXs for Front Office supporting over 2,700 Call Center personnel and 300 back-office support staff. 
  • I served as the global end-to-end PM for the implementation of the local IT infrastructure, including the LAN and WAN traversing a diverse carrier implementation, with total building population of 3,000 call center and support staff that were migrated to the new building, in a timely and within budget manner 
  • I managed a worldwide technical staff to build out the new building’s infrastructure including new Data Center, the MDF and 20 IDFs with Cisco network switches and wireless technology
  • I was extensively involved with the relocation and migration of call center personnel from older buildings to the new building, over a period of 3 months
  • Decommissioned five buildings as a result of the new building being put into production.

10/2013 – 4/2015 – IT Infrastructure Project Manager – IT Infrastructure upgrade for New World Van Lines, an international moving company.

  • This $1M project was undertaken to ensure the double-digit growth of this $100M privately owned company
  • IT Infrastructure was long overdue for a technology refresh, including the build-out of two data centers to serve as their primary and secondary data centers, for a more reliable and robust environment
  • Redesigned their network, including replacement of all servers and network hardware, cable plant throughout the headquarters office and their 16 remote offices around the country and restructured and staffed the IT Department to serve the needs of the company
  • Updated the Disaster Recovery plan and created a very reliable network for the client

4/2000 – 10/2013 – Consultant and Instructor – For Network Pipeline Inc., a Network Operations Center (NOC) Consultancy and IT Training company

  • As a Consultant – I provided technical expertise in the design, planning, deployment and technical support for network operations centers (NOCs) for the military, government and Fortune 500
  • As an Instructor –
    • I trained over 4,000 network professionals, providing NOC and Active Directory training services for Fortune 1000 companies, military organizations and government agencies. 
    • I designed and created a Learning Management System for four different training courses with labs and provided training for two different manufacturers as an outsourced provider
    • Independently, handled sales, student administration, scheduling and delivery of classes – Online, Onsite, Open Classrooms and Computer Based Training

Prior to 4/2000 – Senior IT Consultant – Clients and projects include IBM, Renaissance Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Spherion Staffing Services……
